World-Class Professional Bodybuilding, Ontario’s First Amateur MMA Tournament, a large health and fitness EXPO; The Toronto Pro SuperShow has it all!

TORONTO, ON (May 23, 2012) – Sport fans and fitness enthusiasts alike will love the Toronto Pro SuperShow taking place on June 1st thru June 3rd, 2012 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The Toronto Pro SuperShow EXPO is Canada's largest health and fitness exposition and sport festival of its kind held in one location. It showcases leading businesses, sports and organizations with the latest trends in the health and fitness industry.

The Toronto Pro SuperShow EXPO will also be hosting several sporting events including Ontario’s first Amateur MMA tournament, CrossFit, Professional Bodybuilding, Boxing, Kickboxing, Strongman, Powerlifting, Olympic Weightlifting and Armwrestling. There will also be Fitness and Bikini Model Searches and motivational lectures by health and fitness industry guest speakers.

IFBB Bodybuilding

The Toronto Pro SuperShow IFBB Championships is Canada’s only professional IFBB sanctioned event. Check out the largest Men and Women Bodybuilders and the most fit and beautiful Fitness, Figure & Bikini athletes in the world. The Toronto Pro SuperShow will also be featuring the newly introduced IFBB’s categories Women’s Physique and Men’s Physique.

Legends of the Olympia

Meet the Mr. Olympia winners of the past decade. Ronnie Coleman, Phil Heath, Jay Cutler and Dexter Jackson will be on-site together on Sunday June 3rd for an exclusive engagement only at the Toronto Pro SuperShow.

Ronnie Coleman: Former football player and police officer, 8 x Mr. Olympia and record holder for the most IFBB Professional Titles (26). Ronnie Coleman, also known as "Big Ron", turned PRO in 1991 at the World Amateur Championships and competed until 2007. Ronnie Coleman to this day, remains one of the most recognized bodybuilders in the sport.

Phil Heath: The current Mr. Olympia Phil 'The Gift' Heath was a varsity basketball player, who turned to bodybuilding in 2002. He has quickly become one of the best IFBB Pro bodybuilders since earning his Pro status in 2005. He made an impression in the industry in 2008, when he placed 3rd in his rookie debut at the Mr. Olympia; he was the first rookie to ever do so.

Jay Cutler: 4 x Mr. Olympia, Jay Cutler is known as one of the most recognized and personable bodybuilders to-date. He has several clothing and bodybuilding apparel lines that he either endorses and supports and is sponsored by one of the biggest brands in the industry. 2003 was declared by many industry writers as "the year of Cutler", as Jay competed in 8 different shows.

Dexter Jackson: Dexter 'The Blade' Jackson won the Mr. Olympia title in 2008. As a child Dexter was a 4th-degree black belt, break dancer and a gymnast. He first started competing professionally in 1999, since then he has won 14 professional titles include the Arnold Classic 3 times.

Combative Sports at the Toronto Pro SuperShow

Amateur MMA, Olympic Boxing and Kickboxing; the Toronto Pro SuperShow has it all. Starting Saturday June 2nd, there will be non-stop combative excitement on the EXPO floor. Over 200 combative athletes will be competing for Canadian and North American titles.

This year the Toronto Pro SuperShow is proud to host Ontario’s first sanctioned Amateur MMA tournament. With top Canadian athletes confirmed from Newfoundland to British Columbia, the Toronto Pro SuperShow AMMA event is the combative sport event to attend.

On Saturday evening, the Toronto Pro SuperShow Fight Night will take place featuring a CANADA vs. USA showdown with three elite AMMA fights taking place.

Model Searches

Toronto Pro SuperShow will be once again hosting the Oxygen Women’s Fitness Model Search, MuscleMag Women’s Bikini Model Search and introducing the Reps Men’s Model Search. Over 100 fitness and bikini models will be competing for the ultimate prize of a photo feature in the Oxygen, MuscleMag and Reps magazines.

About Mr. Olympia title

Mr. Olympia is the most prestigious title awarded to a professional Bodybuilder. This title is awarded at the Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend - an international bodybuilding competition that is held annually by the International Federation of BodyBuilding and Fitness (IFBB).

About the International Federation of BodyBuilding and Fitness (IFBB)

The International Federation of BodyBuilding and Fitness was founded in 1946 in Montreal by brothers Joe and Ben Weider, whose dream was to bring the sport to international prominence.
